Biography of

 Photos Made Perfect

My name is Claire Santos-Daigle.  My husband Michael and I own "Photos Made Perfect", licensed in Chula Vista San Diego since October 1999.  Michael has an Associates of Science Degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Thames Valley State Technical College in Norwich, CT along with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Roger Williams College in Newport, RI, and currently employed as a Quality Assurance Manager.  We became involved with digital photo restoration when Michael started his genealogy in 1992.  He has identified approximately 1200 individuals and managed to trace his family name back to France in 1643.  In 1996 we began restoring family photos and in 1999 our hobby became a business, with my background in Marketing.

Our customer base is focused on genealogists and historical societies.  We make presentations on "Digital Photo Restoration" and "Photo Dating".  We encourage members to bring their photos to this presentation.  At the end of the presentation we scan the photos of people who decide they rather have us restore them and contact them in a few days.  No other restoration service brings their services to you. Many genealogist rather not leave their photos with any lab or trust mailing them anywhere.   This is our mission statement.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to educate the public about digital image editing. We want to be a part of restoring your family history, making our motto

"Restoring Family History...

  One Photo At A Time".

Our mission is accomplished by our appearances at genealogy conventions, and genealogy societies throughout southern California. Our "Genealogist Corner" on our website is another venture in the efforts to help genealogist.

It's a huge mistake to choose a restoration service based on price or distance from your home alone.
